Grindley was contracted for two buildings of a five-building long term project, including our specialist spaces for food, technology, art, design, music, dance, a performance hall and general classrooms. Grindley was far and above the best building company we dealt with over the time. They had a high level of clear communication, were responsive to our needs that were beyond their project scope and provided an exceptional quality build. Every time that we interacted with Grindley, they were polite, professional, responsive and helpful. As Principal, having Grindley run this project meant that it was a lot less stressful than any other project we have had. I would not hesitate to engage them for future building projects.

As Superintendent for the O Pavilion project, we had the opportunity to work closely with Grindley in their role as the main contractor. Throughout the project, Grindley demonstrated a high standard of workmanship and a professional, collaborative approach. Overall, it was a positive experience working with the Grindley team, and we would welcome the opportunity to collaborate with them again on future projects.

At all times the Grindley team were professional, consulting and listening to the Client’s particular needs, adjusting to any changes in the architectural design and managing the site. The building and circular green space have enhanced the Mary MacKillop Place site. We have received many very positive comments about all aspects of the building which reflect our value of hospitality.

Grindley was selected as the preferred contractor, not on value for money alone but for their solid reputation for working on sensitive, live sites, in this case a sub-acute hospital setting with consistently high levels of occupancy. Our renovations were not easy. Work needed to be completed in several areas throughout the building and Grindley’s team co-ordinated the timing of the work with our senior management and ward managers so that there was minimal disturbance to our patients.

This project included the refurbishment of the existing ground floor office with revised layout and minor façade extension. The project was quite difficult as it required substantial work in a confined and poorly accessible site. The school staff are exceptionally happy with the quality of finish. It has given the school a massive upgrade in facilities and functionality. We thank the Grindley team for their great coordination, management and excellent communication with the Client and all stakeholders.

Grindley was awarded the public tender for base building and fitout works at Raglan Street, Manly. Grindley worked closely with Council and not-for-profit organisation Community Northern Beaches to ensure the solution met the needs of each organisation within the constraints of a heritage building. The project team from Grindley were professional and a great fit for Council’s collaborative approach to delivery. The project was successfully delivered on time and on budget.
