Warrigal Shell Cove is a vibrant coastal community designed to help people over 55 live well, stay connected, and enjoy an active, independent lifestyle. Set in the heart of Shell Cove’s new marina precinct, this landmark development combines coastal beauty with community charm, offering residents a place to live, socialise, and thrive.
Following the successful collaborations on projects in Bundanoon and Goulburn. Stage 1 marked the beginning of our long-term partnership with Warrigal at Shell Cove. Delivered under a Construct Only contract, the works established the foundation of the Shell Cove community complex through the delivery of the “The Quay” which now sits at the heart of the precinct.
The three-storey aged care home provides 134 rooms across 2 upper floors above a ground-level community hub that welcomes residents and visitors. Designed around light filled internal courtyards and shared social spaces, the building fosters connection, comfort, and wellbeing. Amenities include a reflection pool, café with a fully integrated kitchen, 3 bistro-style dining areas, Club Connect, a gymnasium and wellness centre, hair salon, and 6 self-contained suites with balconies.
The project involved bulk earthworks, extensive on-grade carparking, new road infrastructure, and landscaped courtyards that integrate the building seamlessly with the broader village and present a welcoming first sight of the Shell Cove complex. A natural palette of materials reinforces the residential character of the design, balancing contemporary coastal living with a welcoming home like feel.
Built across multiple stages, the project precinct demanded careful planning and coordination with live community interfaces and adjacent villa construction from another builder. Our experienced team successfully managed these challenges, delivering a high-quality outcome that set the benchmark for the following stages.
Today, Warrigal Shell Cove stands as a thriving coastal village, a place where residents can enjoy the marina, nearby cafés, and landscaped communal spaces, supported by modern facilities that enhance wellbeing and connection.
