Stage 1 of the Warrigal Goulburn redevelopment marked a major investment in expanding aged care capacity for the region, delivering a modern, purpose‑built home designed to support older people with dignity, comfort and connection. Set within beautifully landscaped grounds in the heart of Goulburn, the new Community Village enhances Warrigal’s vision of creating vibrant, supportive communities where residents can live at their own pace. The project significantly increased local care capacity, responding to growing community needs.
As one of the largest infrastructure programs in Warrigal’s history, Stage 1 required a delivery partner with the scale, capability and discipline to manage a complex, high‑value build. Our history in large scale complex projects within the Health and Care sector meant we won the competitive tender. Our team successfully delivered the project on time, to a high standard, and at a significant saving to Warrigal.
With the site not yet operational, construction could progress efficiently, allowing the team to focus on quality, safety and program certainty. The new 120‑bed aged care home sets a benchmark for contemporary residential care. Each room includes a private ensuite, supported by multiple nurse stations, communal lounges, dining areas and thoughtfully designed shared spaces that promote comfort, independence and social engagement. The home’s layout prioritised natural light, accessibility and resident wellbeing, contributing to its recognition as an award‑winning project.
Stage 1 established the foundation for a thriving, integrated care precinct in Goulburn, delivering long‑term community benefit and enabling the seamless expansion achieved in Stage 2.
