Following the successful refurbishment of the Elizabeth Street premises, Waratah Chambers re-engaged our team to deliver a new half‑floor fitout at their new office on Liverpool Street. The expansion was needed due to significant growth within the practice, requiring additional offices and purpose‑built spaces that maintain the calm, professional environment essential to family law work.

The project required careful coordination within a fully tenanted CBD tower. Works were sequenced to minimise disruption to neighbouring businesses, with strict access protocols, controlled noisy works and clear communication ensuring a smooth delivery in a live environment. Materials handling was tight within the busy CBD streets, deliveries were staged to help with parking and lift management.

The design continues the material palette established in the earlier refurbishment, with timber panelling and warm finishes reinterpreted in a darker palette. The new reception features the same integrated linear LED lighting. A mix of patterns, textures and accent colours were introduced throughout offices and meeting rooms to add character while maintaining a refined, professional aesthetic.

The fitout includes new offices for all new Barristers, a reception and waiting area, formal boardroom, meeting rooms, kitchenette and full services upgrades. The completed space provides the Chambers with additional capacity and a refreshed workplace identity.
