The refurbishment and fitout of the New South Wales Trustee and Guardian Service Branch in Surry Hills was undertaken to create a contemporary, secure and welcoming environment that better supports both staff and Clients accessing essential trustee, financial management and estate administration services.
The project focused on improving functionality, enhancing the Client experience and delivering a workplace that supports the organisation’s important community role. Works required the complete strip out of the existing ground floor and mezzanine office space, including floor finishes, partition and masonry walls, bathrooms and associated furniture, fixtures and equipment. Careful planning and coordination were required to manage the delivery of extensive refurbishment works while maintaining quality outcomes and meeting the project’s stringent requirements for finishes and building services.
The new fitout introduced a secure entry façade, open plan workspaces, Client interview rooms, private offices, meeting rooms and modern staff amenities. Particular attention was given to creating a professional and accessible environment that balances operational efficiency with the privacy and comfort required for sensitive Client interactions. High-quality finishes and carefully coordinated services were delivered to meet the specific functional needs of the Service Branch.
The completed workplace provides a modern, flexible and secure environment that enhances the experience of both staff and visitors. By transforming the existing tenancy into a purpose-built service hub, the project strengthens the New South Wales Trustee and Guardian’s ability to deliver trusted services and support positive outcomes for the community.
