The Prince Henry Centre is an award‑winning community hub in Little Bay, setting a benchmark for architecture that fosters cultural engagement and social connection. Positioned on Sydney’s stunning eastern coastline, it is framed by panoramic ocean views, sandstone cliffs, and the manicured greens of The Coast Golf Club.

Delivering the project required a sensitive response to its coastal setting. Working closely with Lahznimmo Architects, the team balanced functionality with environmental responsibility, ensuring the building integrates seamlessly into the landscape while preserving views for nearby residents. Sustainability was a central focus, addressed through solutions that improve energy efficiency, water conservation, and ecological value.

A defining feature is the green roof, which blends the structure into its surroundings, enhances thermal performance, and filters stormwater for reuse. The centre also incorporates solar power, natural ventilation, energy‑efficient lighting, and recycled materials throughout its interiors. Additional water‑saving measures, including bio‑retention swales, concealed storage tanks, and waterless fixtures, further reduce environmental impact.
