Storage Works Artarmon was designed to provide the local community and businesses with a modern, secure and highly accessible self-storage solution. The new building supports a wide range of storage needs while creating a strong street presence through its vibrant, brand-aligned façade.
The project team were engaged in the delivery inception, working closely with the Client to prepare and submit the full Development Application (DA). This early involvement allowed the team to guide planning, design and compliance considerations, and implement value management, life cycle assessments and configuration options that maximised operational and commercial outcomes. Challenges were identified early and planned for within the construction approach.
A defining element of the project is the striking green and orange façade, reflecting the Client’s branding and giving the building a strong visual identity. The structure incorporates concrete and steel construction, extensive glazing and a dual-purpose design that supports both storage operations and future showroom or commercial use. Two oversized goods lifts improve circulation efficiency, while secure roller-door storage units and modern office and staff amenities ensure a professional, safe and user-friendly environment.
The completed four-story Storage Works facility provides a long-lasting asset for the Client and a valuable service for the community, offering secure, modern, and accessible storage that will continue to support local residents and businesses for years to come.
