Located amongst the lush parklands of Concord, Redleaf Manor offers residents a warm, secure and welcoming place to call home. Grindley first helped shape this community through the construction of the 65‑bed extra services high care and memory support facility, a purpose‑built home designed to enhance comfort, dignity and daily living. Years later, under new ownership, we returned to further uplift the complex through a comprehensive 55‑bed refurbishment, and further additional room upgrades continuing our long-standing connection to the site and its residents.

Delivering works across two eras, required different approaches. The original new build involved demolition of the existing building and a full new build. When we later returned for the refurbishment, the challenge shifted to working within a fully occupied home. The works were delivered in eight tightly sequenced stages, allowing residents to remain onsite with minimal disruption through controlled access zones, clear communication and sensitive programming.

A defining feature of the building is the grand entry, a generous, glazed arrival point that creates a strong sense of welcome and identity. High‑quality materials, refined detailing and improved external amenity elevate the resident and visitor experience.
