Following the successful delivery of the award‑winning Ministry and Learning Centre, Morling College re-engaged our team to deliver the refurbishment of 2 important facilities that support the College’s mission to inspire, educate and equip future generations. The project revitalises key administration areas, learning spaces and communal zones, creating warm, contemporary environments students, staff and visitors.

Working within ageing buildings that had undergone multiple refurbishments over several decades presented significant construction challenges. Many legacy conditions were only uncovered after demolition, requiring essential structural assessment, sequenced propping and revised design solutions. Close collaboration with the project engineer and architect enabled fast, informed decision‑making, ensuring works progressed without delay. Careful staging, controlled access and strict safety management were essential throughout, particularly as the team navigated unknown structural interfaces and maintained safe circulation around the active campus.

Refurbishment improvements drew inspiration from the Ministry and Learning Centre, continuing a cohesive architectural language across the campus. High‑end finishes and geometric timber detailing were once again meticulously site‑measured, coordinated and prefabricated to achieve the same level of craftsmanship. Upgraded learning spaces, refreshed lobbies, new amenities and refined administrative areas introduce the same palette, while external works, including new entry stairs, landscaping and façade panels bring a renewed life to the building.

The completed project strengthens Morling College’s campus identity, extending the design and providing modern, uplifting spaces that support learning, connection and community for years to come.
