The refurbishment of Moore Park Golf Club’s function and hospitality spaces delivered a fresh, contemporary experience for Sydney’s most iconic public golf destinations. Set within the heritage listed Golf House overlooking the championship course, the project aimed to enhance the club’s offering for members, golfers and event guests by creating a brighter, more welcoming environment that complements the venue’s long‑standing community role.

Delivered within an 8‑week program, the project required disciplined planning and a responsive approach to unforeseen challenges. Construction was carried out while the golf course remained fully operational, requiring careful coordination around player movements and public access. Torrential downpour on the scheduled concrete‑pour day added complexity, but the team was able to maintain program through proactive management and close collaboration with the Client.

The design focused on revitalising the internal function rooms and bar area while respecting the character of the 1926 heritage building. Finishes were selected to brighten the spaces and improve functionality for weddings, corporate events and community gatherings. The new outdoor entertaining area extends the venue’s capacity and provides a relaxed setting with views across the course.
