The award-winning Huang Ying Jung Nursing Home is a modern, three-storey aged care home designed to provide a comfortable, supportive, and sustainable environment for its 84 residents.

The 6,900m² development is located on a quiet residential area on Sydney’s North Shore and required extensive liaison and consultation with the local community during construction. The project involved the demolition of two existing residences and structures, making way for a state-of-the-art facility that includes a 28-car basement car park, a welcoming main entry, and three levels of accommodation tailored to varying care needs.

The home features 72 private rooms and 6 double rooms, complemented by thoughtfully designed communal spaces, including lounges, leisure corners, galleries, and dining areas. The three-storey building includes basement car parking for residents and visitors. Residents benefit from a range of amenities that support both physical and social well-being, such as a multi-purpose auditorium, gymnasium, treatment rooms, and wellness areas. Outdoor terraces, a tea house, and landscaped gardens create a tranquil setting, fostering a strong connection with nature.
