Set within the leafy northern suburbs of Sydney, Greenwood was designed to offer residents a warm, aspirational place to live, one that blends the charm of an upper north shore manor house with the comfort and connection of contemporary aged care. With 5 unique neighbourhoods, each with its own lounge and dining area, residents experience a strong sense of community from the moment they arrive.

Thoughtfully planned communal spaces, including a salon, cinema and café, ensure daily life feels engaging, social and enriching for all who call Greenwood home, and this vision was realised through an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) contract that enabled our team, Allity and the consultant group to collaborate closely from the outset. Building on an established partnership across multiple Allity sites, the ECI process fostered open communication, efficient decision making and a shared understanding of project goals, ensuring the design, construction methodology and cost planning aligned seamlessly with Allity’s ambition for a high‑quality, 107‑bed flagship aged care home considered their premier residence nationally.

Built on a split-level site, the new build is separated across four-storeys and connects between 2 street frontages, enabling both public and service access. Construction required careful planning around several protected mature trees, which directly influenced design, sequencing and methodology. Two basement car parks for staff and visitors were constructed using Dincel wall systems paired with post-tensioned suspended slabs.
