The fitout of Level 7 at Scott Street, Liverpool was undertaken to create a modern and purpose-built environment for the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT). Designed to support the delivery of accessible, efficient and community-focused tribunal services, the project provides contemporary facilities that enhance the experience of tribunal members, staff and the public while supporting the resolution of a wide range of civil and administrative matters.

The project required careful planning and coordination to ensure the timely delivery of a highly functional tribunal environment. Close collaboration between stakeholders enabled the fitout to be delivered efficiently while meeting the operational requirements of both public-facing and administrative functions.

The complete fitout of Level 7 included three dedicated tribunal rooms, five conciliation rooms, a public reception area, sheriff’s office, staff workspaces and modern amenities. Extensive glazed partitioning, custom joinery and durable commercial finishes were incorporated throughout the tenancy to create professional, welcoming and functional spaces that support both formal hearings and private consultation processes. Careful consideration was given to spatial planning, ensuring effective separation between public, hearing and staff areas while maintaining accessibility and ease of movement throughout the facility.
