The Campsie Metro Services Building forms a key part of the Southwest Metro Stations program, supporting the transformation of the Southwest line to modern Metro standards. Located alongside the existing station precinct, the new facility strengthens the operational network and contributes to more reliable, high‑frequency services for the surrounding community.

Delivered within a live rail environment, the project required disciplined staging, strict safety controls and close coordination with rail operators. Working beside active tracks and established station infrastructure meant navigating restricted access windows, integrating new systems without interrupting services and maintaining a secure, compliant site throughout construction.

Purpose designed to support Metro operations, the building houses essential electrical and mechanical systems, along with critical service routes that underpin the upgraded line. Its design prioritises durability, operational clarity and long‑term maintainability, incorporating robust materials, secure plant areas and clearly defined interfaces between public and operational zones.
