Constructing the new independent living blocks and refurbishing the heritage‑listed building required careful planning within a sensitive residential environment. Works were staged to maintain access, protect the heritage fabric, and ensure the safety of residents, staff and visitors. Extensive coordination of services, external infrastructure, and future‑stage connections ensured seamless integration with the existing Masonic Care facilities.

The development highlights a coastal modern aesthetic, combining red and green feature panels with varied brick tones to complement the heritage building. Vertical lines, white sun‑shading, and glass balustrades create a light, contemporary feel.
