Grindley undertook complex works in excavations, construction and extension of the facilities without incident in an occupied environment and achieved a high-quality result.

Western Sydney University wishes to acknowledge the professional approach and commitment demonstrated by Grindley as a team during construction of our residential projects on the Penrith and Hawkesbury Campuses and the new Early Learning Centre on the Bankstown Campus. The approach taken and leadership shown supported the need to work together as a team to deliver positive outcomes for the University. The result is the delivery of multiple projects that have met the design intent and high standards demanded by the University’s team and our Clients.

Grindley delivered a building of high quality from services to detailed finishes. The project team ensured Catholic Healthcare were always informed and supported through all aspects of the project.

This project ran extremely smoothly and efficiently – with Grindley engaged during the documentation phase to contribute to the buildability and services co-ordination. This enabled Aged Care Plus and the Salvation Army to benefit from significant experience within the design management side of the builders team. The experience of the site team was also extremely constructive and proactive and the project team was a genuinely collaborative example of cooperation and communication which benefited the end user of the building.

Overall, the building construction delivered on the vision of the design. The build quality was as expected and in accordance with the documentation and specifications provided for the development.

This is an exceptional looking building with views to Kiama harbour, a curved façade and internal atrium over the lounge area among its notable features. Grindley collaborated closely with on-site surveyors throughout the project to deliver a structure of technical complexity that includes a large observation deck and sky-lounge. Particularly impressive in terms of process was Grindley’s successful measures to minimise disruption and protect the safety of residents in the adjacent aged care home and independent living units.

It was a significant and high-profile project for Warrigal. We partnered with Grindley based on price, professionalism and a past record of trust in their team and ability to successfully deliver projects for Warrigal. The projects a Shell Cove were delivered to high standards which has allowed Warrigal to deliver its vision of older people having great lives.

At all times the Grindley team were professional, consulting and listening to the Client’s particular needs, adjusting to any changes in the architectural design and managing the site. The building and circular green space have enhanced the Mary MacKillop Place site. We have received many very positive comments about all aspects of the building which reflect our value of hospitality.
