Grindley have delivered a number of major projects for Warrigal and this approach has remained consistent throughout.

Grindley has proven to be a dependable builder who remained committed to the job even during the trying times of the pandemic, inclement weather conditions and supply chain shortages. We are pleased with the quality of work they have delivered, and their professional standards have been exceptional.

The conversion of the top level of the building from offices to single cardiac wards with individual ensuites was a terrific transformation. The Grindley team were always co-operative and thoughtful. Their professional building methods allowed the rest of the hospital to function normally.

During the time that I have worked closely with Grindley, I have been particularly impressed with the level of professionalism and the degree of dedication that they bring to each project. They are very meticulous, organised and thorough in their approach to construction. Their team sets the highest standards of workmanship and will not accept anything less from their sub-contractors.

Grindley’s performance for the Enabling Works, Wellbeing Centre and the Specialist Disability Accommodation was outstanding. Grindley achieved the program after taking into account a significant contaminated soil removal component and inclement weather. Grindley’s management of the project works both on-site and off-site was exemplary, always well resourced, always ethical in its dealings and always communicating progress and issues for resolution.

Grindley was selected as the preferred contractor, not on value for money alone but for their solid reputation for working on sensitive, live sites, in this case a sub-acute hospital setting with consistently high levels of occupancy. Our renovations were not easy. Work needed to be completed in several areas throughout the building and Grindley’s team co-ordinated the timing of the work with our senior management and ward managers so that there was minimal disturbance to our patients.
