Supporting the Royal Far West Ride For Country Kids

Grindley and CEO Matthew Macauley have thrown their support behind the “Royal Far West Ride For Country Kids”.

This year, the Royal Far West Ride for Country Kids was over three days and 420kms starting in Wagga and finishing in Orange, with many stops in regional areas and schools along the way. The ride started in 2014 and in that time has grown from 20 riders to now around 100 and from $120,000 raised in year one, to more than $650,000 this year.

Royal Far West is an amazing charity for regional families. It provides comprehensive multi-disciplinary health services to thousands of country children with non-acute developmental, behavioural, learning and mental health disorders who cannot access these services in the areas where they live. Royal Far West receives some government support, however they depend on the generosity of individuals, corporations and community groups to enable them to continue their work.

Congratulations to all the riders who made it to the finish line and for all the fundraising efforts in support of such an incredible cause!
